Turism

Turism

Costa Rica coffee tours at Café Don Emilio invite visitors to experience authentic coffee culture in Pérez Zeledón. We conduct guided group tours across our coffee plantation and show every stage of planting, growing, harvesting, and collecting coffee. Visitors also learn about the drying process, quality control, and artisanal roasting methods. During the tour, guests enjoy local landscapes, fresh mountain air, and sightings of Costa Rican flora and fauna.

Special Considerations

  • Tours are subject to availability and weather conditions.
  • Each tour has a maximum capacity of 20 participants.
  • Children under 9 years old can join for free under the $35 option. For the $45 option, there is a $10 charge per child aged 6 to 9 if lunch is required.
  • Transportation is not included. We recommend arriving in a 4×4 vehicle due to rural road conditions.
  • Most of the tour takes place in accessible areas. We suggest wearing comfortable clothing and shoes, and bringing sunscreen, insect repellent, and an umbrella or waterproof gear in case of rain.
  • Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions when making your reservation, regardless of the selected rate. As a small family-run business, we do our best to accommodate the needs of our guests.
  • A 20% deposit is required to confirm your reservation, payable via PayPal or a secure payment link. The remaining 80% is paid on the day of the tour, after the experience, in cash (Costa Rican colones or US dollars) or by card.
  • Cancellations: Reservations canceled at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a refund of the deposit. In case of health issues or adverse weather conditions that prevent your attendance, we are happy to reschedule or consider a refund.
